DESCRIPTION: Featuring a unique multi-polymer formulation that prevents scale formation, AQL 30000 KT also contains dispersants and corrosion inhibitors.
 
APPLICATIONS: AQL 30000 KT has application in large and medium sized refrigeration type recirculating cooling systems with extreme hardness and alkalinity
Contents (stressed water).  This product has application in high-temperature industrial process cooling systems.

INITIAL DOSAGE: Add sufficient AQL 30000 KT to maintain 2-5ppm of molybdenum as measured by Low-Range Molybdenum Test Kit.

MAINTENANCE DOSAGE: Add sufficient AQL 30000 KT to maintain 2-5ppm of molybdenum using a Low-Range Molybdenum Test Kit.  Consult your AQUALINE water treatment consultant for further instructions.

METHOD OF FEED: AQL 30000 KT can be fed directly into the cooling tower sump or directly into the recirculating water line using a midstream injection tip.  This product should not be mixed with biocides in a chemical feed solution.

Description:

  • AQL 300 is a liquid blend of polyphosphates and polymeric dispersants
  • Ingredients contained AQL 300 is in accordance with title 21, section 173.310, of the code of federal regulations for boiler water additives that may be safely used in the preparation of steam that will contact food. AQL 300 is authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants

Application:

  • AQL 300 has application in steam boilers in the operating pressure range of 300 p.s.i.g or less. It is recommended for use in systems having either softened or hard water makeup. The phosphate in AQL 300 will combine with the feed water calcium hardness to form a fluid sludge

Attention:

  • Do not use in electrically heated steam boilers, as damage can result
  • Authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants
  • Classification: G6

Product dosage:

  • The initial dosage of AQL 300 is 1 gallon for each 400 gallons of boiler water (3000 ppm). Adjust the feed rate of the product to maintain a phosphate residual of 30 to 60 ppm as po4 in the boiler

Method of feed:

  • Feed AQL 300 immediately downstream of the feed water pump; alternate feed points are the feed water storage tank or condensate receiver. Ensure adequate mixing of the product and contact time in the feed water for oxygen removal.

Advantages:

  • AQL 109 is designed for use in steam generating systems to remove excess oxygen from the feed water to prevent oxygen-induced corrosion in the boiler and pre boiler equipment
  • Reacts rapidly with oxygen to protect pre boiler components such as condensate and feed water storage tanks
  • Effectively scavenges oxygen in systems with temperature levels below 80*f
  • AQL 109 ingredients are acceptable per 21 CFR 173.310 for use in boilers where the generated steam will be used in contact with food
  • AQL 109 will not consume boiler water or feed water alkalinity

Initial dosage:

  • Actual feed rates will be a function of feed water oxygen content, which is based on the temperature of the feed water, sodium sulfite residual maintained in the boiler water and the cycles of concentration in the boiler
  • Feed water temperature less than 90*f, use 52-64 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 gallons of feed water
  • Temperatures above 90*f and below 160*f, use 28-52 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 gallons of feed water
  • Temperatures above 160*f and below 210*f, use 6-28 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 gallons of feed water
  • In a boiler that uses a properly functioning deaerator, use 2 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 gallons of feed water

Maintenance dosage:

  • Add AQL 109 to the deaerator storage tank, feedwater storage tank or condensate receiver to maintain a 30-60 ppm sodium sulfite residual in the boiler water as measured by a sulfite test kit

Method of feed:

AQL 109 can be fed directly into the deaerator storage tank, feed water tank or condensate receiver by using a stainless steel-injection quill inserted below the water level in the tank. This product should not be mixed with other boiler treatment products in a chemical feed tank. AQL 109 can be mixed with good-quality condensate, boiler feed water or city water provided the ph is not greater than 8.4. In this case, feed the product neat.

Note:

Do not feed this product into the feed water line immediately before the feed water pump or directly into the boiler. Use a floating blanker in the chemical storage tank to prevent the active component from reaching with air.
